Just when it was okay to start getting excited about the upcoming THE CROW remake, yet another leading man has left the project due to scheduling issues, reports Variety. This time it’s Jack Huston, who was only just announced to take on the role originated by Brandon Lee in 1994. Bummer.
“Jack Huston is unfortunately unavailable to continue with us on The Crow,” said director Corin Hardy in a statement. “‘The Crow’ is an amazing project, and I am grateful that we have the time and patience to get it right. We look forward to unveiling our new lead and starting to film over the next several weeks.”
With Huston out of the picture (damn!), the site reports that Relativity Studios is eyeing Nicholas Hoult and Jack O’Connell, among others, as possible replacements. On top of that, they just announced that Forest Whitaker has joined the project in another role, so there’s that. And while we won't be seeing Huston in THE CROW, he will be starring in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES.
