Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was officially picked up by ABC on Friday and as promised last night the first trailer for the show aired on the network. Clark Gregg is of course back as Agent Coulson and he'll be leading his own team as they investigate "the new, the strange, and the unknown." Take a look below:
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. looks bigger in scope than I thought it would. Not that a television series tied to THE AVENGERS could really ever be called small but it appears the show might be adding more to Marvel's universe instead of just being side stories. And not to start a rumor but could that have been a Luke Cage appearance we just saw?
Synopsis:
Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson’s team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet).
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. should air sometime this fall.
