It’s a Crystal Skull!

UPDATE – Well it was a crystal skull. As predicted below, the legal C&Ds went out and MovieWeb promptly took the pic down. But you can always use that fancy Google if you’re so inclined.

Curious to know what the titular “crystal skulls” will look like in INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL? Well lucky for you because MovieWeb has the first clear look at the badboy online today. This is not an officially sanctioned Paramount/LucasFilm debut but it does look like an official promo pic (the tattered cloths surrounding it…) so it’s unclear where exactly it came from but it’s out regardless. To avoid giving away spoilers we’re not really gonna comment on it and what it may mean to the plot but I will say you’ve seen this guy before. It may not be long before the Lucas smackdown is dropped on the pic so if you’re interested, you might want to check it out sooner rather than later. Ore if you’re NOT interested, well… I guess you could always check out this clip of a bunch of middle school kids busting Jason Reitman’s balls. “Where do you find time to call your father when you need to know where to put the camera?” Those kids are wise beyond their years.
