It VR experience asks you to float on with Pennywise

So my co-worker Steve pawned off this story to me, and I didn't think much of it at the time. I mean, VR tech is good and all, but it's still not, like, holodeck good. And I'm a big boy who's not afraid of clowns, like Steve apparently is. Anyway, here's a tweet from the official IT film with some footage:

Well, that last jump scare got me. Maybe because I just didn't expect it, or more likely that's because that's the point. Watching it again, I can see that the effects aren't great, and the implementation of a live-action Pennywise is a bit like a 90s FMV. But it worked in the moment, because I guess I'm not as big a boy as I thought.

Meanwhile, IT will float into theaters September 8th.
