It seems that a Tremors reboot is in the works at Universal

News has been kind of slow this morning so I started perusing some websites of a few directors whose works I follow and checked in on Don Michael Paul, who helmed LAKE PLACID: THE FINAL CHAPTER as well as JARHEAD 2: FIELD OF FIRE. While scrolling though his site I found a cool tidbit of information that may excite some of our readers. In a recent blog post Paul shared…

After I finish up “Company Of Heroes: The Fourth Reich” I will be headed to Johannesburg, South Africa to reboot the “Tremors” franchise for Universal.  Big year ahead and I’m excited to keep it going with the support of all you genre movie lovers out there.

A TREMORS reboot? Oh, hell yeah! I'm totally down for another go-around with the Graboids.

Sure, talk of a TREMORS continuation have been around for years. It was way back in 2008 when we first heard rumblings of a TREMORS 5, but nothing came of it and it seemed that Universal was pretty much done with the franchise. Now it seems that TREMORS is far from being dead, with Uni working with Don Michael Paul to reboot the franchise. The ground beneath me is shaking from excitement…of course, it could be Graboids, too.

Hopefully we'll hear something on the TREMORS reboot soon in terms of where it stands, casting, etc. For fans of the series (like me) this is very exciting news.
