UPDATE: Warner Bros. released a photo (see above) as well as official details on the set. It’s quite similar to what I originally showed you. I don’t know what you are going to think about the special features, however. Well I am pretty sure I know what the reaction will be but I won’t be quick to judge. The packaging is nice and should be great for any Bats super fan. Check it all out below:

It’s been long rumored that a nice little Blu-ray collector’s edition box set would make its way to Batman fans. Thanks to a Polish Bats site we have what seems to be our first look as well as details on the set.

I’m really hoping that there are some great features on the DVD like behind the scenes, interviews, make-up tests, and so on. This trilogy has been special to the Batman fans, and if they are going to dish out the big bucks they want something in return. It looks like you will be getting three of the vehicles featured in each film. There’s also great artwork from the looks of it.

Check out the details from Batcave.com:

Although an official announcement has not yet, but there is some information on foreign websites. There are many indications that the entire set will consist of nine plates (set of “The Dark Knight Trilogy” had five discs). Among the additional items in the kit can also find book, three prints, poster and three toy models of vehicles Batman (Tumbler, Batpod and The Bat).

According to the French Amazon costing 89.99 euros (roughly $117.00 when converted to US dollars) set will go on sale on October 2, and the contents of the disc will be as follows:

Batman Begins (2 Blu-ray + 1 DVD)

The Dark Knight (2 Blu-ray + 1 DVD)

The Dark Knight Rises (2 Blu-ray + 1 DVD)
