Oh hey, more useless GHOSTBUSTERS 3 news! According to a film industry executive, GHOSTBUSTERS III is considering Cleveland as a location to shoot the third installment of GHOSTBUSTERS, says WKYC Ohio. They say that the movie is being scheduled to be shot in 2014, this is coming in on the heels of rumors going around that Emma Stone and Jonah Hill have been offered lead roles. This news hasn't been confirmed by Columbia Pictures, but it might be worth raising an eyebrow or two when we see these casting rumors and now this story surface so closely together.
Here's what Dan Aykroyd revealed a while back as far as the plot is concerned:
It’s based upon new research that’s being done in particle physics by the young men and women at Columbia University… Basically there’s research being done that… I can say that the world… our dimension that we live in, our four planes of existence, length, height, width, and time, become threatened by some of the research that is being done. And ghostbusters, new ghostbusters, have to come and some the problem.
Between this and the ARMY OF DARKNESS 2 rumors we've been getting, there's really only one thing left to do. And that would be to go slam my head in a car door, thanks.
