Juan Carlos Fresnadillo certainly impressed me with 28 WEEKS LATER, and I am quite eager to scope out his next film INTRUDERS. It sounds bizarre and the first official US one-sheet certainly adds to that, which you can check out below. That whole eyeless thing is probably going to give me nightmares, I don’t even know why!
Though no one can see him, Hollow Face lurks in the corners, desperately desiring love but only knowing how to spread fear and hate. He creeps into the life of John Farrow (Clive Owen) after Farrow’s beloved 13-year-old daughter Mia (Ella Purnell) is assaulted in their home. The line between the real and the imaginary blurs as fissures start to open within the family unit. It seems that no security measure can keep Hollow Face out.
The film features a mighty cast including Clive Owen, Kerry Fox, Pilar Lopez, Carice van Houten (below), Adam Leese, Imogen Gray, Ella Hunt, Mark Wingett and Daniel Brühl. You can catch it on March 30th!
