The second season of the Hulu / Blumhouse series Into the Dark was supposed to wrap up last September, but due to the pandemic shutdown the show came to an early ending in July. Last month, they made up for one of the two missing installments, and now season 2 is finally set to reach its conclusion with director Emma Tammi's Blood Moon, which will be available to watch on Hulu as of March 26th.
A couple weeks out from the film's release, a trailer has arrived online and can be seen above.
Into the Dark: Blood Moon stars Megalyn Echikunwoke, Yonas Kibreab, Joshua Dov, Marco Rodriguez, Gareth Williams, Jack Yang, Brian Norris, Patrick W. Day, Jan Munroe, and Danielle Juliet Ma. The synopsis:
When Esme (Megalyn Echikunwoke) and her ten-year-old son, Luna (Yonas Kibreab), move to a small desert town looking for a fresh start they attract all the wrong kinds of attention. As the locals begin to probe, Esme must battle to protect her son and a terrifying secret before the next full moon threatens their very existence.
Each season of the Into the Dark anthology consists of twelve feature films, released on a monthly basis, with each feature having something to do with a holiday or notable date in its month of release.
I have really enjoyed watching Into the Dark's two seasons, so I'm hoping the show will end up getting a season 3.
