Video Interview! We talk with Olga Kurylenko about her horror film The Room!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Christian Volckman's new film THE ROOM (OUR REVIEW HERE), is officially out NOW (WATCH HEREBUY HERE) on DVD and as a Shudder exclusive. Today we have a great interview to share with you guys with the star herself, Olga Kurylenko. No stranger to genre films, Olga has starred in such hits as OBLIVION, THE NOVEMBER MAN, and as one of my favorite contemporary Bond girls, Camille, in QUANTUM OF SOLACE.

THE ROOM stars Olga Kurylenko, Kevin Janssens, Joshua Wilson, and John Flanders. Check out the interview above and then let us know what you think in the comments below. Here is the film's official synopsis:

Matt and Kate buy an isolated house. While moving, they discover a strange room that grants them an unlimited number of material wishes. But, since Kate has had two miscarriages, what they miss the most is a child.

I enjoyed THE ROOM for having a different take on what most would expect to be a modern version of the "Monkey's Paw" tale. Though this film isn't wholly unique, it works more than it doesn't and offers a great think piece on materialism and motherhood with a pinch of THE TWILIGHT ZONE. Olga Kurylenko gives one of her best performances here, and it was a real pleasure to sit down and discuss THE ROOM with her. Enjoy!
