Interview: We talk Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild with Filmmakers and Justina Muchado

The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild is coming to streaming this week. After several sequels in this kid-friendly franchise, Simon Pegg returns as Buck Wild, and this time he’s the star of the show. And yes, Mr. Pegg is clearly up for the task. The film, directed by John C. Dorkin, also stars the very talented Justina Muchado. And of course, if you dig Crash (Vincent Tong) and Eddie (Aaron Harris) in the previous films, you’ll be down for this one. If you are a fan of the Ice Age gang, you’ll be happy to know that you can enjoy the latest adventure when it arrives on Disney + on January 28th.

We recently sat down to chat with Justina Muchado about taking on the role and playing opposite Simon Pegg. She discussed taking on the project and her own appreciation for the Ice Age series. Considering the actress has had an impressive career, it was fun to see her involved. We also discussed the new film with the sequel’s director and long-time producer of the franchise, John C. Dorkin, along with executive producer Lori Forte. The two discussed opening up the story to other characters and working with Simon Pegg to headline the latest.
