Matthew Vaughn is back, and he’s bringing The King’s Man. The prequel to the Kingsman franchise takes a unique turn with a darker and occasionally more serious sequel. Starring Ralph Fiennes, Rhys Ifans, Gemma Arterton, and Djimon Hounsou, the film feature a number of colorful performances. Harris Dickinson is also in on the fun. And the young actor is terrific as Fiennes’ son, always looking to fight the good fight. We’ve previously seen Mr. Dickinson in films like Beach Rats, Postcards from London, The Darkest Minds, and Malificent: Mistress of Evil. He’s also appeared in the series Trust, and this year’s acclaimed The Souvenir: Part II.
We recently spoke with Harris about taking on the world of The King’s Man. The actor who has accomplished quite a bit in a few short years spoke about getting involved with the film. He opened up about working with Vaughn and how the director helped in bringing this character to life. Harris is a very talented young man, and it will be interesting to see if this prequel hits with audiences and fans of the first two. Either way, Harris Dickinson gives a terrific performance, and the film is worth experiencing. The King’s Man opens Wednesday, December 22nd. Read our review here!
