INT: Ray Winstone

Ray Winstone may be one of the most underrated actors out there. He has done magnificent work in NIL BY MOUTH. He has appeared in high profile American films such as THE DEPARTED, COLD MOUNTAIN and THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA. I could name a number of other films but I will jump straight to BEOWULF, where his voice is encompassed by the heroic figure from classic literature. It’s brought to life by Robert Zemeckis and his work with performance capture. Oh yeah, he’s also in some flick called INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL.

I sat done with Mr. Winstone and had a hell of a time at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. It was just a terrific conversation with the charming Englishman. We talked about working with performance capture and frankly, we should of just had a pint at the local pub. Sadly, we weren’t able to get to INDY 4 talk and since it’s Beverly Hills, there are no pubs so the interview ended much too soon. But he is just one hell of a guy. They don’t get nicer than Ray.
