Interview: Mia Goth and Brittany Snow Talk Ti West’s X

Ti West has crafted some truly eerie entertainment throughout his impressive career – The Innkeepers, his work on the V/H/S anthology, The House of the Devil, and more. His latest, the perfectly titled X, is no exception. The story revolves around a group of porn stars, and a film crew renting a house on a farm property to shoot a movie in 1979. Unfortunately, the owners don’t seem to appreciate fine art, especially when it’s on their property. It may sound generic. It’s not. Not even close. It’s a fun and vicious flick, one that features an excellent cast that includes Mia Goth, Brittany Snow, Kid Cudi, Jenny Ortega, and the always reliable Martin Henderson, and you can check out our X review here, and now our new interviews here.

Recently, we had a few minutes to chat with both Snow and Goth about the film, and working with Ti. I’ve been a fan of Mia’s for quite some time, and she is always such a pleasure to speak with. The actress had the chance to truly go into unique places, and she discusses taking on two roles for the new slasher. As for Brittany, she opened up about creating a very intriguing character who is the “smartest person in the room.” She also talked about getting the chance to add some music to the madness. X is a fantastic feature film, and I highly recommend you seek out a bit of X in your life. Horror fans will not want to miss this gruesome, fun, and suspenseful tale.
