In the new feature film Memory, Liam Neeson portrays an assassin about to lose his own [Memory]. Directed by Martin Campbell, Mr. Neeson gives yet another impressively layered performance. After the massive success of Taken and the many films that came after, it’s nice to see something slightly different here. In the new flick, Liam stars opposite some impressive names that include Guy Pearce, Monica Bellucci, and Ray Stevenson. And yes, there might well be a few surprises with this new action thriller based on a remake of the 2003 Belgian film, The Memory of a Killer.
Recently, we had the amazing pleasure of sitting down and talking Memory with Mr. Neeson. I’ve had the joy of speaking to this man a few times before, and it’s always wonderful. Liam is kind, soft-spoken, and takes great care when answering a question. He opened up about his role as an action hero, and how he is attempting to bring a bit of reality into the roles he chooses. He has a fun story here about a movie that he was offered and did not take. Liam is a fantastic talent, and you can check out his latest this weekend at a theatre near you.
