The latest series, The Terminal List, on Amazon Prime boasts an impressive collection of talented performers, and I had a chance to interview two of them in the terrific Constance Wu and JD Pardo. Wu has shined in films like Crazy Rich Asians and Hustlers. And Mr. Pardo was excellent on the series Mayans M.C.. Terminal List revolves around Chris Pratt who plays a Navy SEAL officer who is forced to investigate why his team was ambushed. Based on the novel by Jack Carr, the series also features Taylor Kitsch, Riley Keough, and Jeanne Tripplehorn. As well, it offers an impressive list of directors that includes the great Antoine Fuqua. If you are looking for a bit of action and suspense, you may want to check this out. The series premieres this Friday on Amazon Prime.
We recently spent some time with members of the cast and producing and directing team to talk about the new series. One of the most pleasant conversations – actually they were all more than pleasant – was the talented Pardo and Wu. The two discussed how they got involved in the series. One thing in particular that came up was the involvement of Jack Carr. The author responsible for creating these characters played a major part in this series. And am I crazy, or did we get a brief spoiler about Carr being in the series for a cameo? Well, I guess we’ll have to wait and see how that plays out. Either way, I my interview with Constance Wu and JD Pardo, and look out for The Terminal List this Friday on Prime.
