Interview: Andrew Dabb Talks Resident Evil

Over the past few days, we’ve released our interviews with the cast of Resident Evil. And now, the series is available to stream on Netflix for all the world to see. Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, and Lance Reddick star in the eight episode series. And while it may not be what most fans expected, I appreciated the approach. I give producer, writer, and show developer, Andrew Dabb, a ton of credit. After all, this is a franchise that has yet to fully compensate all aspects of fandom from the incredible games. Either way, the series is currently available for you to see for yourself.

In our final interview for RE, we spoke with the series developer, Andrew Dabb. Having talked with him before, it was nice to chat after witnessing the entire series. Andrew opened up about bringing this different approach to the series, and finding the right actors to take on the roles of Jade and Billie. Coming from working on a long running series like Supernatural, it will be interesting to see what’s next from Mr. Dabb, and whether or not we’ll be getting a season two of his latest effort.
