In case you haven't heard, there's this little movie called GRAVITY coming out this week, which has been getting rave reviews (ours here) and has even caused other filmmakers to declare it "the best space movie ever made." Directed by Alfonso Cuaron (CHILDREN OF MEN) and starring George Clooney, Sandra Bullock, and Sheer Space Panic, the film has generated so much heat that it would be hard pressed to find anyone not at least mildly interested in catching it. Not only that, but it seems to be one of those rare films in 3D that you HAVE to see in 3D. If only every 3D movie took the format so seriously…
Here's the clip:
And here's the Spot:
I wouldn't miss this for the world and am already jealous of everyone that's already caught it. The ten minute clip I saw at Comic Con this year was amazeballs enough and the anticipation has been killing me. Cauron is absolutely one of the most interesting and innovative filmmakers working today and I can't wait to see what he's wrangled up in the five years he spent making GRAVITY. From all we've seen and heard, it appears to be more proof that he's a director to watch.
GRAVITY hits theaters this Friday, October 4, 2013.
