Actress Danielle Bisutti is going from Chucky to The Further. The lovely lady, who is coming off THE CURSE OF CHUCKY, has been cast in INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2 in an undisclosed role. The actress confirmed the casting via her Twitter page last week.
In addition, the sequel has brought on 21-year-old Michael James Grise from Orlando, Florida. Who is he, you may ask? Well, you’ll recall that last month, FilmDistrict held a video contest in search of the biggest Insidious fan ever, hosted by director James Wan, screenwriter Leigh Whannell and producer Jason Blum. The prize: A walk-on role in INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2.
Grise won for the below video, in which he displays his fondness for INSIDIOUS in clever fashion, so definitely give it a look.
INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2 is currently shooting in Los Angeles and opens on AUGUST 30th, It stars Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye and Ty Simpkins. The plot is being kept firmly under wraps.
