After nearly 14 years, the Parr family are suiting up for another animated adventure of herculean proportions when Disney and Pixar's INCREDIBLES 2 takes theaters by storm beginning on June 15th. According to early reports, the film is on-track to make a huge splash at the box office, during its opening weekend, with an estimated $140 million dollar return in North America. Should that be the case, the movie will become the most lucrative domestic start for an animated feature, surpassing the previous record of $135 million set by Pixar's FINDING DORY in 2016.
Written and directed by Pixar legend Brad Bird, INCREDIBLES 2 tells the story of when Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) springs into action to save the day, while Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) faces his greatest challenge yet — taking care of the problems of his three children. With Dash (Huck Miner) growing into a sarcastic little S.O.B., Violet (Sarah Vowell) entering her rebellious stage, and the perplexing manifestation of Jack-Jack's powers to contend with, Bob is going to have to learn to be just as big a hero in the home as he is on the streets. Meanwhile, a new and sinister villain named Screenslaver has arrived on the scene, who is looking to make the citizens of Metroville mindless victims of his dastardly plan.
INCREDIBLES 2, starring the voices of Holly Hunter, Craig T. Nelson, Sarah Vowell, Huck Miner, Samuel L. Jackson, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener, Sophia Bush and Isabella Rossellini, Brad Bird and more will superhero land in theaters on June 15th.
