ILM videos take us behind the VFX magic of Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Like every other STAR WARS film before it, STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI contains its fair share of outstanding visual effects crafted by Industrial Light & Magic. From the opening bombing-run battle against the First Order Dreadnought to Supreme Leader Snoke's (Andy Serkis) leering face, you can find evidence of ILM's handiwork in just about every shot of the film, and the VFX company have released several short videos which go behind the magic of how they brought certain sequences to life. Check them out below.

We'll be able to learn more about the making of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI when the sequel is released for our home-viewing pleasure next month, and like always, the release will be full of special features, including:

• Andy Serkis Live! (One Night Only) – Writer-director Rian Johnson presents two exclusive sequences from the movie featuring Andy Serkis’ riveting, raw on-set performance before his digital makeover into Snoke.
