IFC Midnight picks up The Stranger, starring Lorenza Izzo

Way back in September we caught our first look at the Eli Roth and Nicolás López (AFTERSHOCK) produced indie thriller THE STRANGER, which dropped a pretty fantastic trailer that was all about atmosphere and brutality; watch it out HERE if you missed it. Now, word is coming in that IFC Midnight has just acquired distribution rights to the film. Hopefully this means we'll be hearing of a release date sooner than later.
