Ever since the film’s release, there’s always that person you know who says that Mike Judge’s IDIOCRACY is “coming true!” It’s hard to argue with the evidence, but in case you wanted to re-experience the laughs/horror of what the film has to offer, it’s returning to select theaters!
Some of the cast and crew of IDIOCRACY will be show up in-person at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica at 6:45pm on October 4th for a screening of the film and a conversation afterwards. Concurrent IDIOCRACY screenings will also be taking place at Alamo Drafthouse locations and Art House Convergence theaters across the country, with the post-movie conversation live-streamed to those audiences. You can check out a list of participating theaters below!
If there aren’t any theaters in your area, you can go to facebook.com/alamodrafthouse for the post-movie conversation at 8:25pm PST via Facebook Live. Questions will be taken from the live audience in Santa Monica, but also from the live-stream and Facebook Live audiences via Twitter using the hashtag #IdiocracyToday.
