I Want You Back Interview: Scott Eastwood and Clark Backo

Amazon Studios is set to release a new romantic comedy called I Want You Back this Friday and it’s a charming throwback to a genre that some may have believed died out. Thanks to a solid ensemble cast, I Want You Back shines and I was lucky enough to speak to some of that ensemble ahead of the film’s release.

Following my interview with Charlie Day and Jenny Slate, I had the chance to speak with Scott Eastwood and Clark Backo, who play Noah and Ginny in the film. Noah was once dating Emma (Jenny Slate) but he has recently broken up with her and began dating Ginny (Backo). Unbeknownst to him, Emma has teamed up with Peter (Charlie Day) to break up his union because she’s returning the favor for him as he has also been recently dumped by his girlfriend Anne (Gina Rodriguez), who has also seemingly moved on with Logan (Manny Jacinto).

Scott Eastwood and Clark Backo are clearly having fun with each other during the interview and they pretty much lead the discussion with their playful and witty banter with each other. After spending this time with them, I imagine they had some great times on set.
