If you consider yourself a fan of LEGO and GHOSTBUSTERS, then you've probably already dropped the money and invested the time needed in order to build yourself a LEGO version of the Ecto-1. But as we all know, that car needs a place to live, and what better place to house it than a LEGO GHOSTBUSTERS Headquarters?
Up until now, it was only a dream, but today it was made official. The GHOSTBUSTERS Firehouse is happening, set for a release in January 2016 in order for you to get your construction on.
Coming in at 4,634 pieces, this GHOSTBUSTERS set will be a full two stories, complete with a laboratory, living quarters, a containment unit and nine minifigures: Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore, Janine Melnitz, Dana Barrett, Louis Tully, Zombie Driver and Library Ghost. You also get Slimer, Pink Ghost and Blue Ghost for your money, and you'll end up as excited as Ray Stantz knowing that you can slide each and every one of them down the building's fire pole.
As for your money, that could be the sticking point. This impressive piece of LEGO architecture is going to run you $349.99, which sounds awfully steep if you're not a hardcore builder. Therefore, if you're dead set on landing one of these, you might want to plan ahead to accumulate all those holiday gift cards that may come your way at the end of the year. They could come in handy for easing the burden of purchasing this with your own cash.
