I Know What You Did Last Summer show adds Madison Iseman & more

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

The 1997 slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer (watch it HERE) is the latest horror movie to get the TV show treatment, and before production on the Amazon series inspired by the film (and the 1973 Lois Duncan novel it was based on) begins in Hawaii this month, the names of nine cast members have been announced.

Madison Iseman (Annabelle Comes Home, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween) is believed to be taking on the lead role, and will be joined in the cast by Brianne Tju (Scream: The TV Series, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged), Ezekiel Goodman (Rat Bastard), Ashley Moore (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, Alone Together), Sebastian Amoruso (Solve), Fiona Rene (Underwater, Stumptown), Cassie Beck (Pose, Connecting…), Brooke Bloom (Marriage Story, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane), and Bill Heck (Locke & Key, The Alienist: Angel of Darkness).

Character details are being kept under wraps.

Preacher and Gossip Girl alum Sara Goodman is writing the series, with Craig William Macneill set to direct the pilot. The show has the following synopsis:

In a town full of secrets, a group of teenagers are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night.

Goodman is executive producing the series with Shay Hatten, Erik Feig, Original Film's Neal Moritz and Pavun Shetty, and Atomic Monster's James Wan, Rob Hackett, and Michael Clear. Sony Pictures Television co-produces with Amazon Studios. Macneill is an executive producer on the pilot.

I look forward to seeing how they're going to make I Know What You Did Last Summer sustain an entire TV series.
