After playing it fast and loose with the rules of engagement for Netflix's Regency-era drama series, Bridgerton breakout Phoebe Dynevor is set to headline Sony Pictures' Heart Murder thriller. Ingrid Goes West director Mike Spicer is at the helm and will co-script the feature with Tom O'Donnell. Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher's Red Wagon Entertainment will produce.
The plot for I Heart Murder has yet to be revealed, though it's been confirmed that it's a female-driven thriller.
That's not a whole lot of information to go on, is it? At the very least, we know that Dynevor will be front and center for whatever Spicer and O'Donnell are cooking up. Dynevor plays Daphne Bridgerton opposite Regé-Jean Page's Simon Bassett for Netflix's Bridgerton. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the series, Bridgerton is a spicy period drama that dabbles in high society shenanigans. It's got a mysterious narrator, wicked whisper campaigns, and does more back-stabbing than Michael Myers in the new Halloween Kills trailer. With Dynevor being front and center of Spicer's new film, this is definitely something to keep track of as it develops.
