The folks over at UGO recently got word from awesome character actor Danny Huston that he’ll be playing god of the sea Poseidon in the upcoming Louis Leterrier directed CLASH OF THE TITANS remake. He joins Liam Neeson as king of the gods Zeus and Ralph Fiennes as lord of the underworld Hades. In the film, Sam Worthington plays the mighty Perseus who undertakes a quest to defeat all kinds of mythical creatures in a land ruled by gods in order to save the Princess Andromeda (Alexa Davalos). Huston further mentioned that the film will be “more contemporary in its approach” with “sets and scope [that] are huge, outrageous, with moving practical sets and location photography.” Awesome.
