When Hugh Anthony Cregg III was born on July 5th (Happy Birthday Hugh!), he had no idea that 58 years later he would be singing the theme song to a movie directed by David Gordon Green and starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, let alone one about marijuana. But as fate would have it, and as Nostradamus predicted so many years ago, it’s happened. If you go to the MySpace page of the PINEAPPLE EXPRESS soundtrack, you can hear the title song to the film, sung by the man himself. And I can see why he changed his name—Huey Cregg III and the News just doesn’t have the same ring to it.
