These Texas Chainsaw viral images are leftovers from Thanksgiving

How are we feeling about TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D? Good? Bad? Indifferent? While I doubt the following viral images will sway you in any way, their novelty factor makes ’em worth trotting out for hardcore Leatherface fans.

These bad boys surfaced around the weekend of Thanksgiving, hence the wacky photoshop job that caps ’em off. I like that they’re trying to closely align TEXAS CHAINSAW with the original TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, but I’m wondering if it will actually have any baring on the film’s story beyond the obvious fan servicing. Also, the evidence pics are an interesting touch, but the Facebook for CARRIE happens to be doing the same sort of thing a lot better. Just sayin’.

Anyhoo, TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D dances its way into theaters Janurary 4th. The film, directed by John Luessenhop, stars Alexandra Daddario, Trey Songz, Scott Eastwood, Sue Rock, Bill Mosely, John Dugan, and Dan Yeager.
