What the hell is this movie called?
The poster, which is 100% pure badass, says the title is HOUSE ON WILLOW STREET. But if you look closely at the small print on the poster, the title is FROM A HOUSE ON WILLOW STREET. Add to that, all the news stories we have posted on the film thus far, have gone with the title FROM A HOUSE ON WILLOW STREET.
Let alone the simple change up of the trailer below calling the flick THE HOUSE ON WILLOW STREET. Now I know the slight change from HOUSE ON WILLOW STREET, to THE HOUSE ON WILLOW STREET is minor, but, come on, choose a name a stick with it.
I suggest; FROM A/THE HOUSE ON A/THE WILLOW STREET. That should clear all matters up.
Anyway the film, whatever it is called, has released a new (amazing) poster and a (pretty cool) trailer. You can check both out below.
The synopsis for HOUSE ON WILLOW STREET goes like this:
The perfect kidnapping goes gruesomely awry in this shock-a-minute, supernatural wild ride. Led by the tough-as-nails Hazel (YOU’RE NEXT’s Sharni Vinson), a band of desperate criminals abduct Katherine (Carlyn Burchell), the daughter of an ultra-wealthy family, for ransom. What the gang doesn’t realize is that although they have Katherine’s body, her soul is already in possession of a demonic force that’s about to turn the tables on them. Cue a cavalcade of carnage, all building up to a totally twisted, off-the-rails finale.
HOUSE ON WILLOW STREET starring Carlyn Burchell, Gustav Gerdener, Zino Ventura, Sharni Vinson (below), and Steven John Ward, hits select theaters, VOD, and digital platforms March 23rd.
