House of Gucci: Jared Leto unrecognizable in film’s first character posters

MGM has released a series of character posters for Ridley Scott's House of Gucci and they look suitably sleek and stylish while one actor, in particular, looks completely unrecognizable.

The character posters feature Lady Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani, Jeremy Irons as Rodolfo Gucci, Al Pacino as Aldo Gucci, Adam Driver as Maurizio Gucci, and an I dare you to say you actually recognized him, Jared Leto, as Paolo Gucci. All of the posters look great but when someone pointed out that Jared Leto was one of the featured character posters my eyes couldn't really believe it. House of Gucci is based on the 2001 book "The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed" by Sara Gay Forden. Lady Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani, who was tried and convicted of orchestrating the assassination of her ex-husband and former head of the Gucci fashion house Maurizio Gucci, portrayed by Adam Driver. The movie is set in 1995 and depicts the events and aftermath of the murder. Rounding out an already stellar cast is Jack Huston, Reeve Carney, and Salma Hayek.
