Zombies are losing their heads over this new Resident Evil clip

A new Japanese clip from RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER has dropped after the film's foreign market debut, and it's pretty fun! So far, I'm a little tentatively jazzed about this whole project, which looks like it's gonna be totally bonkers at the very least. The clip expands a scene that's central to the trailers, depicting a surprise zombie attack at a computer terminal that does not end well for said zombie. Check it out below!

The film's story picks up immediately after the events of RETRIBUTION and:

finds humanity is on its last legs. Alice must return to Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is preparing for a final strike against the survivors of the apocalypse.

In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

Written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, THE FINAL CHAPTER stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, Fraser James, Rola, and Lee Joon-gi. 

The flick infects theaters on January 17, 2017.
