Winona Ryder goes 80’s in these images from Netflix’s Stranger Things

Netflix is really getting a grip on their production model, launching series after original series almost weekly. One upcoming series, Stranger Things, isn't as high profile as some of their other efforts, but it's certainly intriguing. Returning Winona Ryder to the genre (maybe it's not a coincidence that HEATHERS is currently streaming), it's an intriguing series that's certainly worth a look.

Netflix has released a set of images to promote the show, showing off Ryder and the cast of kooks that surrounds her. Check them out below!

Set in Hawkins Indiana in the 1980’s, Stranger Things chronicles the search for a young boy who vanishes into thin air under highly suspicious circumstances. His mother (Ryder) opens an investigation into the boy's disappearance with local authorities that unravels a series of mysteries involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl. Check out the first images in what's being billed as a coming of age story wrapped in a love letter to the ubiquitous cult classics of the 80s.

Stranger Things also stars Charlie Heaton, David Harbour, Matthew Modine, Millie Brown, and Natalia Dyer. The show arrives on Netflix on July 15th.
