Jordan Peele's THE TWILIGHT ZONE revival was recently renewed for a second season by CBS All-Access, and today we have the trailer for the eighth episode "Point of Origin" starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Zabryna Guevara, and James Frain. The episode follows this vague synopsis:
A suburban housewife (Ginnifer Goodwin) wants to go home. But where – and what – is home, really?
I don't know about you, but this reboot of THE TWILIGHT ZONE has made my must-watch TV list. I've seen every episode every Thursday when it airs, and I plan to continue throughout the rest of this season. Each episode seems to be better than the next. Loving it! Last week's episode was called "Not All Men" and starred Taissa Farmiga. It follows the aftermath of a meteor shower that seems to turn all men into violent and evil entities.
Here's the show's official rundown via CBS All Access:
Next stop ahead The Twilight Zone. CBS All Access' upcoming reimagining of the original series, which premiered in 1959, will debut in early 2019. Jordan Peele will serve as host and narrator of the new series, a role made famous by creator Rod Serling, who used socially conscious storytelling to explore the human condition and culture of the times.
CBS Television Studios produce THE TWILIGHT ZONE in association with Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films. Peele and Kinberg serve as executive producers along with Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Glen Morgan, Carol Serling, Rick Berg, and Greg Yaitanes.
"Point of Origin" will be released on CBS All-Access on Thursday, May 16th.
