Travel back in time with the trailer for Welcome to Yesterday

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

What would you do if you could travel back in time? Well, win the lottery, screw with your old teachers and go to Lollapalooza, of course!

Those are some of the fun and games on display in the first trailer for WELCOME TO YESTERDAY (formerly known as ALMANAC), which has just debuted and can be found below. Some are going to call this “CHRONICLE with time travel.” And they’ll be right, that’s exactly what it looks like. What’s interesting, and perhaps disappointing, is that it doesn’t appear as though the characters go too far into the past via their homemade time machine. Only going back a handful of years? C’mon, do better than that.

The film stars Jonny Weston, Ginny Gardner, Sam Lerner, Allen Evangelista and Sofia Black-D’Elia. It comes from Michael Bay’s production company Platinum Dunes and director Dean Israelite.

WELCOME TO YESTERDAY opens on February 28th.
