This one kind of crept up on us. From MADISON COUNTY director Eric England comes ROADSIDE, a thriller that looks like the long lost cousin of PHONE BOOTH. These self-contained creepers are always fun, and it appears as though England has nailed the nightmarish scenario at play.
The question is, can he keep it up for the flick’s entire running time?
The premise here is relatively simple: Dan Summers and his pregnant wife, Mindy, fight for their lives when they are held hostage in their car by an unseen gunman on the side of a desolate mountain road.
ROADSIDE stars Ace Marrero, Katie Stegeman, Lionel D. Carson, Marshall Yates, Alan Pietruszewski and Erin Stegeman. It doesn’t have a distributor yet, so the trailer will have to suffice for right now.
