Looks like Stephen King and J.J. Abrams' upcoming Hulu series is looking to keep the quality cast members coming as today we have news that THE STEPFATHER himself, Terry O'Quinn will be joining the 10-episode first season of the series.
O'Quinn joins the currently shooting CASTLE ROCK production along with fellow castmates Melanie Lynskey, Jane Levy, Bill Skarsgård, Scott Glenn, André Holland, and Sissy Spacek.
For those who may need a refresher course, Terry O'Quinn is best known for starring in THE STEPFATHER (and its sequels), along with roles in SILVER BULLET, PIN, AMITYVILLE: A NEW GENERATION, and, oh yeah, that show LOST.
I'm excited as hell to hear O'Quinn is joining the cast of Hulu's CASTLE ROCK. Especially considering I have a theory that the series will take a good bit of its plot from King's novel NEEDFUL THINGS. And not to start a rumor here, but O'Quinn would make a great Leland Gaunt…
That said, Deadline is reporting O'Quinn is set to play a character by the name of Dale Lacy, who is being described as "a pillar of the community in the town of Castle Rock."

CASTLE ROCK synopsis via Hulu:
A psychological horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, “Castle Rock” combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. CASTLE ROCK is written by Dustin Thomason and Sam Shaw, and executive produced by Stephen King and J.J. Abrams. The 10-episode first season has not yet been given a release date.
CASTLE ROCK stars Melanie Lynskey, Jane Levy, Bill Skarsgård, Terry O'Quinn, Scott Glenn, André Holland, and Sissy Spacek.
Filming is expected to run until January!
Dale Lacy… alas Leland Gaunt? Okay, I'll stop.
