Earlier this month we shared the update on the upcoming third season of Netflix and the Duffer Brothers' STRANGER THINGS with the news that the new season will begin after a time jump.
Today we have news that the Duffer Brothers have begun work on STRANGER THINGS 3. Kinda… Maybe. They're being tight-lipped as you can imagine.
All the same Ross Duffer and his brother, along with some cast and crew, held an interview at the Vulture Festival in LA for STRANGER THINGS 2 and Deadline reports that Ross may have dropped new info.
Ross Duffer via Deadline:
We are [in] very early days on season three, and we’re still figuring it out.
He then took a beat and added:
I probably wasn’t supposed to say that. That’s not official; that wasn’t an official announcement — we’re just working on it, just for our own amusement… for fun!
No matter, Ross. It's all good. After all, we know that Netflix would have to be f*cking insane to pass up a third season of their hit series so it only makes sense you'd start working on it at some point.
