Stranger Things 2 trailer mixes Ghostbusters & Thriller

Nice. Well, all those peeps who thought that the first season of STRANGER THINGS should have just been called 80s NOSTALGIA THINGS will no doubt be rolling their eyes to this new full trailer for season 2. All the rest of us are grinning ear to ear.

I personally find the full trailer for STRANGER THINGS 2 to be a godd*mn delight and have already watched it a few times in the last few hours since it dropped earlier tonight at the SDCC.

I'm loving the use of Michael Jackson's THRILLER used throughout and more specifically the Halloween personified voice-over work by Vincent Price, which is a spooky delight at any and all times of the year. Especially that cackling warlock laughter only Price can pull off with such panache.

STRANGER THINGS 2 synopsis:

It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
