Starz will be possessed by Ash vs. Evil Dead season 2 in early October

If you were intrigued by Bruce Campbell's comment that the second season of Ash vs. Evil Dead would feature the "worst onscreen death in the history of all visual arts," you don't have long to wait to find out what he's referring to. The show is returning to Starz on October 2nd, just in time to squeeze out a few episodes before Halloween! Check out the bloody good trailer for season 2 below!

Here's the short synopsis for Season 2:

The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There, he confronts Ruby. The former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.

Ash vs. Evil Dead also stars Lucy Lawless, Dana DeLorenzo, Michelle Hurd, and Ray Santiago. There will also be a guest appearance by original film star Ellen Sandweiss, returning as Ash's sister Cheryl.
