You guys ever hear about a flick called FLIGHT 7500? Nah, me either. Worry not though because according to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting the movie isn’t even called that anymore.
Apparently FLIGHT 7500 has undergone a title change by dropping the FLIGHT part. So now we’ve got 7500, and courtesy of BD we now know that Ryan Kwanten and Amy Smart are in talks to topline this shite for director Takashi Shimizu.
The genre vets are in the process of signing on to topline the supernatural claustrophobic thriller from CBS Films and producers Taka Ichise and Roy Lee. Based on a pitch from Shimizu, the rundown for 7500 reads a little something like this:
7500 is set on a transpacific airliner from Los Angeles to Tokyo where the passengers encounter what seems to be a supernatural force.
Smart (below) would be playing a passenger on the flight while Kwanten’s (above) role isn’t specified.
So what do you guys think? Pretty straight-forward right? I’d say 7500 has the potential to be entertaining at least. You can go ahead and spit some bullets below and let us know how you’re feeling about this one while we wait for more updates to fly our way. Pun definitely intended.
