Original cast member Colin Salmon returns for Resident Evil: Retribution

Looks like Paul W.S. Anderson is really trying to go full circle with this one…

English actor Colin Salmon (above) – who played “James ‘One’ Shade” in the original RESIDENT EVIL movie – has taken to his Twitter account to verify his involvement in the franchise’s 5th installment. As you know, the flick is subbed RETRIBUTION, and as of now comes out September 14th, 2012.

As for Salmon, here’s his exact tweet:

Nice, even after being hired Salmon lauds the script. Sounds encouraging!

In terms of plot, not a ton lot is known about RETRIBUTION. We do know a major action sequence will take place in Russia’s Red Square, involving game character Ada Wong in her first film appearance. We also know, via the films IMDB page, that actor Aiden Bristow is also credited as a character called Leon Scott Kennedy. Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter (below), Wentworth Miller and Sienna Guillory all return as well.
