New Dexter promo shows us there is no clear line between ally and enemy as we’re introduced to the new characters

Out of the 20 or so shows I am looking forward to this Fall season, top of that list is Showtime’s DEXTER.

I feel like I have been counting down the days until Season 6 arrives, and it is now less than a month away with the premiere on October 2nd. To help us fans prepare a new promo video has been released, and this one introduces the new characters. The actors talk a little about their characters and leave us wondering who are allies and who are enemies, shades of grey has always been the name of the game with this show.

Dexter Morgan spent Season Five atoning for the death of his wife, Rita. He committed to being a part of her children’s lives and entered into a deep, passionate relationship with Lumen, unlike anything he’d ever had before.

But Dexter’s need to kill overpowers his desire for human connection. And now that one person knows the truth about him, and a few others are close, how much longer will America’s favorite serial killer be able to keep his dark side a secret?

Returning cast for the show include Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, James Remar, David Zayas, C.S. Lee, and Lauren Velez. With guest stars including Jordana Spiro, Edward James Olmos, Colin Hanks, Molly Parker, Brea Grant, Aimee Garcia (below), Mos Def, Josh Cooke, and Billy Brown.
