Maneater game lets you play as a shark where you eat men!

Ever dream of being a merciless shark, stalking your prey and chomping them down to tiny, little, bloody bits? Just me? Oh…well, regardless Tripwire Interactive and Blindside Interactive have developed an open-world survival-horror game MANEATER, published by Tripewire and Deep Silver, where you get to play as the world's deadliest (sea) predator! Here's the official description:

Experience the ultimate power fantasy as the apex predator of the seas – a terrifying SHARK! Maneater is a single player, open world action RPG (ShaRkPG) where YOU are the shark. Devour nutrients to grow and evolve far beyond what nature intended. Become a massive shark, an apex predator of legends, to get revenge on the cruel fisherman that dismembered you. Eat. Explore. Evolve.

Now this isn't the first game where you play as a deadly shark killing people, as there were two officially-licensed JAWS games – JAWS UNLEASHED and JAWS ULTIMATE PREDATOR – where you played as the titular JAWS (or is this a situation where the shark is just "shark" and JAWS is simply the name of the movie?) Regardless, this one looks a bit more polished than the aforementioned PS2 and Wii games.
