It was just this morning that we hit you guys with the news that the long-awaited TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE prequel LEATHERFACE was set to premiere at this year's Fright Fest in London. We even shared a few spoiler stills from the flick. But now we have the moment everyone has been waiting for – the film's release date!
LEATHERFACE will be hitting limited theaters & VOD October 20th, 2017. And if you just cannot wait until then – and you can't attend this year's Fright Fest – then you will be happy to hear that the prequel will be made available exclusively through DirecTV release on September 21, 2017.

LEATHERFACE synopsis:
A prequel about teenage Leatherface who escapes from a mental hospital with three other inmates kidnaps a young nurse and takes her on a road trip from hell. Along the way, they are pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of these teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, molding him into the monster we now call Leatherface.
LEATHERFACE is directed by Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury from a script by Seth M. Sherwood and stars Stephen Dorff, Lili Taylor, Nicole Andrews, Sam Strike, Julian Kostov, and Sam Coleman.
LEATHERFACE hits DirectTV September 21st and limited theaters & VOD October 20th.
