Jurassic Park 4 tidbit: a new dino will rise!

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

It’s hard to believe that we’re getting a new JURASSIC PARK in little over a year. After all, a director was only found recently in the form of Colin Trevorrow; doesn’t seem like a whole lot of prep time for a sequel as anticipated as this. Nevertheless, the train has left the station, so we should be learning a whole lot more about it in the coming months.

Since we’re so eager for info, we’ll take the following tidbit from dinosaur expert Jack Horner (who consulted on the first JURASSIC PARK and is doing so again for part 4). In an interview with USA Today, Horner revealed that a new lizard will make his debut in the sequel:

I can’t actually tell you who that will be,” says Horner, who will consult on the new film. “But you’ll want to keep the lights on after you see this movie.”

Each JURASSIC PARK flick has introduced a new dino or two to the mix: THE LOST WORLD gave us those dastardly little “Compys”, while JURASSIC PARK 3 introduced the (kinda lame) Spinosaurus. So where do they go next?

JURASSIC PARK 4 is due to hit next June.
