It was only a month or so ago that we shared the awesome news with you guys that the current Master of Horror himself, John Carpenter was taking his brand of scares to the small screen with not just one but TWO new horror projects in development.
Those two new projects are TALES FOR A HALLOWEEN NIGHT for SyFy, which is based on a series of graphic novels by Carpenter, and an adaptation of author Simon R. Green's series NIGHTSIDE.
Now I'm not sure where WATCHMEN screenwriter David Hayter fits into these projects (if at all) but Hayter was recently part of a panel discussion with SuperNerds UK and let slip the info that he is currently working on a TV pilot that has John Carpenter attached to direct!
David Hayter on John Carpenter's return to directing:
I’m doing a TV show, I’m writing and producing a TV show, that John Carpenter is directing the pilot for. So I’m working with John Carpenter now. We are taking it out to networks. So hopefully it’ll be announced very soon.
You can check out the full SuperNerds UK podcast below and then make sure to let us know how excited you are for Carpenter's return in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!
We'll let you know when we hear more!
