Jigsaw gets 2 new trap-filled TV spots

Are you looking forward to Lionsgate’s reboot/sequel to the SAW flicks? Personally, I don’t know what to make of the new film just yet. Something tells me I’ll be checking it out asap… once it hits streaming and/or Blu-ray. Is this a film to see in IMAX though? Time will tell.

But maybe the two new TV spots for JIGSAW will help you make your choice (get it) and you can check both out below. They’re pretty cool considering that I thought I’d had more than my fill of traps and dolls YEARS ago now. But the new slickness of this film is winning me over from the rust-covered visuals of the original series.

JIGSAW synopsis:

Bodies are turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one man: John Kramer. But how can this be? The man known as Jigsaw has been dead for over a decade. Or has an apprentice picked up the mantle of Jigsaw, perhaps even someone inside the investigation?

JIGSAW is directed by Michael and Peter Spierig from a screenplay by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger and stars Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Clé Bennett, Hannah Emily Anderson, Laura Vandervoort, Mandela Van Peebles, Paul Braunstein, Brittany Allen, and Josiah Black.

JIGSAW is scheduled to reach theaters (and IMAX) on October 27th.
