Here’s your ‘Initiation’ to the witches of American Horror Story: Coven

We're less than a month away from the premiere of FX's "American Horror Story: Coven" and there's no doubt we'll be seeing some groovy and spooky promos headed our way on top of the creepy spots we've already seen. Today we have a new TV spot that features the impressive cast initiating you into their wicked world. Titled "Initiation," the teaser features Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe and more, as well as some kind of horned bull/man creature that completely freaks me out.

Over 300 years have passed since the turbulent days of the Salem witch trials and those who managed to escape are now facing extinction. Mysterious attacks have been escalating against their kind and young girls are being sent away to a special school in New Orleans to learn how to protect themselves. Wrapped up in the turmoil is new arrival, Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), who is harboring a terrifying secret of her own. Alarmed by the recent aggression, Fiona (Jessica Lange), the long-absent Supreme, sweeps back into town, determined to protect the Coven and hell-bent on decimating anyone who gets in her way.

"American Horror Story: Coven" will premiere on Wednesday, October 9th at 10pm and stars Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Gabourey Sidibe, Patti LuPone, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy, Lily Rabe, Evan Peters, Denis O’Hare, Alexandra Breckenridge, Alexander Dreymon and Jamie Brewer.
